A Rare Opportunity From: This bike was purchased recently by me and I have included the original listing for a detailed description I have only updated this bike to include a NOS Mint Honda original tank at a cost of $825.00 I also replaced the fuel petcock and changed all the gas -in line hoses and removed the turn signals. they were not original to the bike. also NOS left side cover MINT Up for auction is my1973 Honda SL350 K2 Motorsport. The frame number appearing on this SL is SL350-3008603 and the engine number reads SL350E-3008623 making this a numbers matching correct original motorcycle. This SL350 has 4,410 original and easy miles on it-it has never been off roaded or abused in any way over the years. This SL350 has been in my collection for years and was purchased when nice original Honda’s could still be found. I purchased this SL because it simply was the nicest original SL350 K2 I had ever seen. I purchased the motorcycle from the second owner who was a close friend making me only the third owner and I would estimate I have put on less that 5 miles in the years I have owned it. This is simply a beautiful original SL350 K2 and when I purchased it I parked it in my heated basement and covered it with a sheet. I decided to take it out and now realize I don’t have the time to give all the classics in my collection attention. It is time to let someone else enjoy this outstanding SL350 K2. I will describe this SL350 in detail and would like to stress the fact that the motorcycle is an outstanding original and not to be confused with the other examples of SL’s of all sizes that are commonly offered for sale from amateur’s working in a dirt floor shed in a farm field. This motorcycle has nothing in common with them and is in a league not often offered. It is un-molested and overall outstanding. It’s simply a beautiful original that has not been abused over the years which is getting nearly impossible to find. The original body work on this SL350 is one of the nicest original sets of body work I have ever seen. The fuel tank is Brand New NOS and is Flawless, The side covers are bright and show absolutely no fading. The left side cover is Brand New- NOS , no sun fade. The tank and side covers simply glow. The color, marine blue metallic, shines and the SL is outstanding when approaching it. The fuel tank is clean inside and has very nice original emblems mounted. The side covers are original as well and have no cracks or broken tabs-very difficult to find. The gauges are in excellent-unfaded original condition. All colors are bright and crisp including the red portion of the tachometer. The chrome and original aluminum finishes including the outstanding condition front and rear fenders on this SL match the nice condition of the rest of the motorcycle. The Handlebars, rear shocks, front fork lowers, shift/kick, rims and points covers are all in very nice condition for the age. The rims and hubs are some of the nicest originals I have seen and still have all the factory correct Honda finishes in outstanding condition. The tool box with original tool box cap is also present. The original exhaust/mufflers on this SL350 are outstanding and are one of the best features of this example. The exhaust are absolutely solid with no rust-none. The mufflers do have a few very small dings that do not detract from the overall quality and rarity of this outstanding original exhaust. The exhaust alone are most likely worth north of $2000 on this example as they are simply impossible to find for a K2 in this nice of original condition. You will not be disappointed with the exhaust. The original seat, another nice feature, is the nicest original I have come across and appears as new with no signs of use or aging. The fabric is soft and supple and the seat appears as if it has never been sat on. Mechanically, this SL350 runs as factory, all lights, horns, work properly. It currently turns over smoothly with excellent compression as it did when stored. I am confident that this SL is mechanically strong as I have personally ridden it and enjoyed it for a few miles. The fuel tank NOS is currently drained and clean as well. This bike starts on 1st kick and idiles flawlessly. In my opinion, this SL is too nice and original to be a daily driver and would be perfect for a collection or an example to enjoy sparingly on nice days. I also of course have a clear title and and original key for this SL. This SL350 is ready for shipment USA only. I will assist with the shipping.
