Up for sale is a great example of a 1964 Chevy Corvair Monza convertible with low miles. This car is really solid and straight and the interior is in super nice condition. The motor runs really smooth and the transmission works good. Its amazing to drive this car because the alignment is spot on and the car sits very square and cruses right along. The engine has two new carburetors, a good battery, and some recent brake work done with a new master cylinder. The carbs need just a little choke adjustment and maybe synched a little better but still work fine now. The car comes with the two original carburetors and four original rims with bias tires, possibly the originals but not sure. I will just go ahead and list all the good and negative things with the car to try and explain the condition. Overall though this car could use some convertible top repair, minor mechanical work, and possibly a new paint job some day. Other than those issues there are only minor things like a door handle needs a spring, a couple small interior spots need attention, and the fuel gauge doesn't work. The body panels are super nice and solid as well as the fenders, rockers and quarters. The dash and interior chrome look great and the door panels are in good condition. Most of the undercarriage is really good with the exception of a few key spots that could be fixed sometime. There is a few small minor rust spots in concentrated locations, a small area under driver side , lite surface rust in the front trunk, and under the passenger side. The car is very solid and in awesome condition besides those spots. This car has the power top option and some other cool options for the year like seat belts, push button wiper for mist, and the nice chrome. THE GOODS Low miles rare power top option great original condition the glass is good with mostly good rubber solid car and super straight metal good brakes, tires, and alignment nice looking paint with the exception of the shrinkage cracks the chrome and bumpers are really good interior is really nice and comfortable almost everything works such as lights, wipers, radio, etc. really good car to put a little work into to have a great car THE NOT SO GOODS needs some convertible top repairs and needs new plastic or glass rear window very minor rust to fix someday needs a little mechanical adjustments trans pan and carb tune needs minor interior door panel repair could get a new paint job someday due to alligator cracked effect power top lost hydrolic fluid needs repair mostly just small tlc jobs This car is sole as is where is.
