1959 Cadillac Series 62 Coupe Starts and runs using a small test gas tank, but runs very rough with a bad skip, it knocks and pings and will barely move on its own power. Stops using the emergency brake. I think it is the original 390 motor. The body has had all the old paint sanded and sandblasted off. There is some body filler still left in the middle of the panels, but most was removed. The body was then epoxy primed. I took plenty of pictures when the body was 90% bare so there is nothing to hide. The frame is in good condition from the front to about the rear end gas tank area, then in the gas tank area it is rusted through. This body has had some poorly done repairs in the past, as can be seen in the pictures. The right front fender still has a few dents. The floors have some holes in them towards the rear. The interior is mostly there but it is not in the best shape. This is a project car, it needs a lot of work, or would make a great rat rod, they are getting harder to find. I have a Mass. state title that matches the frame #s in my name. Winning bidder has a choice of either taking the car with the rims and tires that are in the pictures (chrome rally rims), or the original style rims with 4 very nice 1959 hubcaps.
