For auction is my 2007 BMW R 1200S. I’m a life-long BMW enthusiast who literally had his first MC ride while in diapers on my father’s Earles forked boxer. I’ve been riding for 45 years and have always owned at least one boxer at any given time. I purchased this model after searching literally for years to find a matte silver one with low mileage. I purchased it from the original owner who bought it new from the local BWW dealer. The gentleman is an attorney with a garage full of cars and bikes and virtually never rode the machine, as evidenced by its mileage. He had all initial break in service performed by the dealer as well. As a friend of a friend I came upon his desire to sell it and I could not pass. As you can see from the photos of my garage, it is tight quarters. I am now over 50 and time is taking its toll…I have a disc herniation in my neck and carpal tunnel syndrome. So this beautiful, showroom new mint machine is sitting here on a trickle charger. I believe that it is probably the most mint, lowest mileage R 1200s in the USA at the present time. It only has 1669 miles (and won’t go up as I will not ride it since I am listing it for sale). It is entirely stock and literally is showroom new. As a former BMW HP2 sport owner, I believe this machine is a real sleeper and since they were made in relatively limited numbers they will not depreciate. On Aug-29-14 at 18:08:44 PDT, seller added the following information: A 2007 black r 1200s just sold on eBay for buy it now for 9800. That machine had 14000 miles on it. This machine has a reserve lower than that purchase price and is mint condition with just over 1600 miles!
