Vehicle Detail

$500.00 due immediately upon sale through PayPal. Remaining Payment must be in CASH for balance upon pickup of car within "7 days" from purchase.(Cash only. Have had numerous Fake bank/Certified checks etc, sorry)I live in central Jersey, (Woodbridge, NJ 07095) just minutes from the Outer Bridge Crossing, easy access from NJ Turnpike, Parkway, Route 9 or Route 1Not that it matters....It has it's ORIGINAL Convertible top...Needs to be changed though. 1972 Buick Skylark Convertible. We paid $12,500 for her back in 1996. Just time has gotten to her.Clear Title.Needs restoration.Much better shape, I believe, than eBay #191219138207See scans: Body and frame are STRAIGHT! Great seems.BONUS!! 95% of the Sheet metal will NOT needed to be replaced. I am selling my 1972 Buick Skylark convertible project.I have had hurt myself 10 years back, in a car accident, and can not work on the older cars I have anymore, so I need to sell it.She Has NOT been driven in about 10 years now. The car is a 350 c.i. 2bbl Automatic Trans car.I started to do work on it. I am an ASE certified Mechanic with all ASE's except for the Transmissions ones.I took the motor apart and redid the heads, water pump, fuel pump, etc. I needed the radiator for another '72 skylark so while I was working on this one I used it's radiator. The Carb is included. Was going to rebuild that but an auto accident stopped this restoration altogether. The paint has faded over the years. I must of purchased several covers for the car, but in the North East the weather wears them out. The frame is solid and straight. This car was a 85,000 mile beauty when purchased. It has 109,000 now. Just sitting made it look like it does in the photos. All trim is there. The piece that is not shown, on front fender where there is the only dent, I do believe I do have. The car Has rebuilt Heads, New Exhaust. Comes with front disc brakes.the car needs a good home. It needs a convertible top and interior door panels, A lot of Soap and Water. The Seats are good as well as the dash , however needs to be cleaned up. there may be critters nest since it has been stored outside the past 10 years.Floor boards are good, no holes.I have enclosed a lot of pictures. The body is really good. Has dent in front right fender but that said the rest is nice. Has a little rust around wheel wells and some on fenders, but does not have the rust "holes" you normally see on these Buicks behind the front tire. It has Original Buick 14" rims with center caps. Also has rare G.S. Steeling wheel which came with the car back in 1972. the car has been stored outside under car covers the past 10 years. The car is sunk into the driveway. The did roll because I rocked it, but I can not move car out of sunken spots of driveway myself. The trunk shows surface rust but no holes at all.Needs Battery, & radiator. That's all I believe that is missing, otherwise the car is complete.the car has NOT run in over 10 years.I suggest the new owner go over the whole car mechanically because it has sit for so long. The Power top use to go up and down with no problem before I started working on the car. Sitting so long, all I can say is that the Heads are totally redone back to factory specs. As far as the rest, when a car sits, things that were new that I did change like the water pump, Wires, Coil, etc may need to be replaced. It is a Factory Air Condition car, which was working before the restoration started. As mentioned, the car has everything but the mentioned before. The car is Saturn Yellow and has complete Black interior.Needs a bath, some work and a good home. I do not believe it will take a lot just to get it running, but it has been some time since it was given attention too.Proposed to my wife in the car back in 1998.It will be sad to see her go, but she needs a better home.My price I am asking is comparable to what they have been selling for in this condition, and do not ask if I can "give it away". I will not, and I believe my asking price is fair.Car is sold "AS IS"***All transportation of this car is the sole responsibility of the buyer.***I do not have the means to deliver this car to the buyer.Flat bed preferred. Do not know if it rolls. Thanks for looking. Email me with any Questions.
