This 1948 Buick Super Eight is in excellent condition. The car is factory original (except for the paint color). It has a straight eight engine with three speed transmission. It runs and drives great. The car had a complete restoration on it a few years ago, which included rebuilding the motor and transmission. All gauges except for the speedometer work. It could simply be unhooked. The bumpers were intentionally given a patina to go with the paint job. The paint looks great, but is not perfect. There is some minor paint chipping where the coffin-hood meets the fender, and there is a rough area in the paint on the filler panel between the bumper and the grill. More attention could have been paid to this area when it was painted. It is not that noticeable, but worth mentioning. This car runs great, looks great and is a steal for the money. There is no way to restore a car to this condition for this price. In the backseat floor is the visor for the car. It has been painted and fitted to the car I just never put it on. A non-refundable deposit of $500 is required immediately at the end of auction, and full payment within 5 days. Please don't bid on this car if you do not intend to pay for it. I ALSO DID NOT TELL YOU THAT THE TRUNK HAS ALSO BEEN DONE SHOW QUALITY INCLUDING CUSTOM CARPETING, NEW SPARE TIRE COMPLETE WITH THE SAME PAINTED WHEEL AND HUB CAP AS THE ONES ON THE CAR.
