Black 1978 Chevrolet Corvette, T-top, Saffron interior, 350 Cu In Eng. Turbo 350 Transmission, Posi (one of 382 that year). One of a few that escaped the factory with the saffron interior that was not cataloged that year. I picked this up from my friend that was in the hospital and needed money in the beginning of 2002. The car had 85k miles then so it didn't get driven much since then. He said that the salvaged title was there because it was stolen and stripped but was not sure. I put in carpet and replaced the worn door panels and leather seats. I had it sprayed with House of Color black and clear coated but did not have it "cut and buffed" There is some artwork in the paint and a few chips etc. from my kid who used it to go to school over the years. Car runs and drives fine. Passes smog regularly. If it sells to a Calif. resident I will go out and have it done. I just did it for CA registration recently. Did calipers and park brake shoes a few years ago. Has a little exhaust leak that goes away when warmed up. The AC does not work but the parts are there. Speedo is starting to bounce. Clock and water temp gauge don't work. No problems of overheating and it gets over 100 here in Patterson for months. The tires have flat spots because it sits so much and there is some cracking.
