Vehicle Detail

Selling my 1966 ford country sedan station wagon. 48 year old car here. Red exterior and red interior. Body is in great shape and straight as an arrow. Solid floors and pans, solid frame, solid rockers and solid wheel wells. Has had a repaint at one time (quick job). Has great tires and rims. Rims are Vision Wheel. Tires are Grand Am Radial GT. ALL chrome and stainless trim is present and in very nice shape. Glass is ALL great no cracks. Rear tailgate glass needs a new coupler to roll it up and down better. It does roll down just fine but needs assistance to roll back up. Has brand new Hi-Jacker air shocks in the rear. New thermostat, thermostat housing and new temp gauge. New starter. Also has new oil lines and new oil pressure gauge. This is the 6 passenger model with a nice huge storage in the rear. Has a roof rack too. Lights, signals, horn (located under dash), heater, rear defrost, dome light...it ALL works. The speedometer needle is stuck due to re-installing the dash and the needle was popped out when re-installed. Easy fix if you ever take the dash apart again. So it comes with a newer Garmin PGS to show the speed you are driving. Even the original AM radio works. Interior is very presentable. Has a few rips in the headliner, but is to be expected as again it is 48 years old (nothing bigger than 4"X4" or so and maybe less than 5 places). Seats are all great with no tears in them. Carpet is great as well with no tears. Door panels are all great too. Has 6 sets of seat belts in it, 3 in the front and 3 in the rear. Engine is a 352 FE and has the cruise-o-matic FX 3 speed trans. Engine is all original except the air breather and the edelbrock 4bbl carb (numbers matching car). Has dual flowmaster super 40's (brand new). Has had the timing chain, distributor, points, plugs, plug wires, new gaskets on the intake manifold, newer points, newer condenser, newer cap and rotor and some front end stuff done to it back in 2011-2012 (have receipts for the mentioned things done to it). Has the owners manual too. Sounds nice and cool. Drives just great. I actually drove it from Caldwell Idaho all the way to Seward Nebraska and back this 4th of July for their car show. That was a 2500 mile round trip with NO problems at all. Very trustworthy old cruiser here. Drive it anywhere. Has a set of 2 original 1966 Idaho license plates on it (not included). I am sure there are things I am forgetting. These are hard to find wagons that are getting rarer and rarer. This one is in great shape. For more specific pics just ask. VIN indicates it was built in the Twin Cities, MN. On Aug-14-14 at 06:15:02 PDT, seller added the following information: Not that it matters much but I have been to 7 car shows this year and not only have I NOT seen another wagon like this I have won 3 awards too. 1.) Most Extraordinary 2.) Outrageous cool ride 3.) Long distance (Idaho to Nebraska) I have also got some engine pics. It is an all original engine (NO dress up kits), only thing NOT original is the edelbrock 4bbl carb and a small chrome air breather. Otherwise its all stock (original drum brakes).
