1996 Mercedes Benz E300D. I purchased this car a year ago from a friend who is a 20+ year Mercedes master mechanic who owns his own Mercedes repair shop in Sanford area. Was his personal car for over 7 years. Has 220k miles which is nothing for these diesel engines. Runs GREAT Since i have had it. I had it totally repainted with Mercedes Alpine white paint which was the original color. Replaced all the exterior chrome trim. Updated the grille, emblem, and tail lights. Replaced the wheels and tires, Replaced the Tie rods in order to have a proper alignment done with the new wheel sizes. Glow plugs have been replaced as well as old fuel lines at the engine. This car runs great and NO ONE believes its a 1996. Also gets about 28-30 MPG. Have over 10k into it. Have to sell. My wife passed away so don't need the extra car now.
