Vehicle Detail
You are bidding on a very rare 1951 FORD VAN PANEL TRUCK FLAT HEAD V8 SHOW TRUCK CUSTOM STEREO & LIGHT SHOW. You won't find any Bondo or fiberglass here this beauty is all metal, an older restore but very nice. I would drive this truck anywhere it has the quietest best running Flathead I have ever seen. I really don't want to sell this truck I have had it in many parades and shows, but I need the money. DON'T MISS OUT! bid early before I change my mind. On Jul-11-14 at 13:33:17 PDT, seller added the following information: There is nothing in the back of this van but the stereo, motorized amp rack, speakers, wood flooring and paneling. The antique keys, Antique Key Signs, Tools and Antique locks seen in some of the pictures are not a part of this auction. On Jul-11-14 at 21:46:24 PDT, seller added the following information: This is the sixth F1 I have owned and it it by far the nicest I have only owned it for about five years, runs and drives very smooth and straight. The engine starts first time every time it has a rebuilt Flathead V8 with 12volt conversion. It is very clean inside and out, it is garage kept no oil or water leeks at all. I will try to post a picture of the engine and underside tomorrow. The company logo on the sides of this truck are painted on, so it will not be an easy fix. When I bought this truck it had another company's logo on it I had the sides repainted for about 1k, from the doors forward it was not repainted, bet you can't tell. The only problems with this truck are small, the radio mounted in the dash is a modern LED conversion mounted inside the antique radio housing, sometimes I have trouble getting it to turn on. also the back door lock doesn't latch well. The upholstery is an older restore and could use updating. Built into the wood cabinet is the most awesome stereo pa system ever. Press a button and the amplifiers roll in and out on a motor driven rack. this stereo can be extremely loud great for antique car shows picnics and parades, huge batteries mounted behind the seats power the stereo for about eight hours. The music selection is made from a Apple IPAD which is a part of the stereo system. Check out this video.
