Up for auction is a very rare 1977 F350 crew cab 2 wheel drive, duel rear wheels Ranger XLT 1 ton dump truck. This truck has never been driven in the winter, the previus owner parked it in the garage every fall and left it there til spring. It is powered by a 460 v8 gas engine and a automatic tranny. The truck has a new carburator, new duel exhaust (all the way from the engine to back) That sound nice and many more new parts. The truck had factory A/C but the compressor has been removed ( everything else for the a/c is entact) The cab & chassis has NO RUST but there is a little rust on the dump body ( not serius) The truck starts, runs and drives very nice especially for a 37 year old truck ! The interior is in pretty good shape with the excepion of the ceiling panel being missing. The front tires have 80% tread remaining and rears are getting worn down and will need replacing soon. The only 2 issues that I can find with this truck is that the turn signals dont seem to work (all other lights do work) and the heater blower does not work.The dump body gos up and down as it sould and is electric over hydraulic. To sum it all up, this is a very clean little crew cab dump truck that has never seen salt and has very little rust with only 103k actual miles, Other then the turn signal issue, i believe that you can drive this truck anywhere but it is almost 38 years old and sold as-is. This truck will be sold with a vt dealer report of sale/ bill of sale only because vt does not title any vehicle over 15 years old. I am a licensed vt used car dealer and I can provide a intransit plate if you are from outside of vt and wish to drive it home, however I would tow it or trailer it due to there being no turn signals. I am about 50 miles from the Burlington airport and I have a guy that will meet you there and bring you to my place for $100 cash, I am 15 miles from the Amtrak station in Randolph and I can meet you there if you wish to come in on the train. Also I will store this truck for upto 30 days free if you need time to pick it up or arrange shipping as long as it is paid in full within 7 days from the end of the auction.
