1969 AMC AMX 390 Go Pack I think that I am the third owner and have had the car since 1987. The car was from Ohio so it has some rust. Floor and trunk floor is ok but around the windows and in the rear fender wells. The worst is below the back window to the top of the trunk. The car runs awesome. In 1988 I removed the engine to replace the timing chain, bearings, rings. The cam had some wear so a factory grind was installed. The crank and rods are forged and stainless exhaust valves were already there. Compression ratio is something like 10.75 to 1. I use one bottle of octane booster per 10 gallons of fuel so it starts easy and does not afterun or ping. When I bought it there was 87k miles on it so I did not drive it very much. In 1988 it got the met red paint with the stripes painted in the exact place of the vinyl tape stripes. Carpet was then replaced. I had door panels made with stitching to match the originals that were too far gone and had Honda CRX seats stitched in leather with red piping so I could save the original seats. The seats will go with the car. I also have the original magnum 500 wheels and center caps and trim rings. They too will go with the car without tires. The gas gauge does not work. Pass doors window is sticking and pass doors inside door handle is not connected. The BAD AMX plate will go with the car. Buyer is responsible for vehicle pick up.
