This is an original California bike with current blue plates until 2015. These RS’s are getting harder to find in good condition and are increasing in value as time goes on. This is a classic airhead that is a blast to ride. Super low miles for the year- starts, brakes, and runs down the road as it should. This bike is tight and solid. Just installed new tires and gave it a full service that included oil, filter, valve and clutch adjustment, carbs synced, fuel filters, and spline lube. I would not hesitate to ride this machine anywhere. A fly in and ride home would be a great option. I spent over $2,000 on powder coated wheels and paint. Garage kept and ridden by a 57-year-old Beemer enthusiast and MOA member. The paint has a beautiful finish and luster - it's the factory burgundy metallic with a UV resistant clear coat. Luggage is clean and tight. Custom made Corbin seat in two-tone vinyl with paint matching piping. Needs: The voltmeter sticks at times and the natural light is not working. The rubber fairing boots around the forks come unclipped sometimes and have to be snapped back in - seems to be a common problem from what I have read on blogs. Many of the pics are extreme close up and I noticed you can see a little soap residue has run down in spots. Wash it every time it goes out - it's an old guy thing . . .
