1966 Chrysler 300 Vehicle Description This is a rare car in survivor condition and would make an exceptional investment that you can also drive and enjoy. This car is 98% factory original with the original 383 engine, 727 Torqueflite transmission. The 383 still retains its original Carter 4131 AFB carburetor. Color is medium-bronze metallic with white vinyl roof and black interior – a rare and stunning color combination! This car has been in my personal collection for over 15 years. It is a rare find due to the very low miles and its exceptional original condition. Vehicle Condition Mechanically the car runs like new – it runs great and has lots of power! It floats down the road effortlessly and is a real joy to drive! Odometer displays 66,455 miles which I am almost certain is original. The fender tag and original vehicle “certicard” are still intact. I expect the build sheet is still under the rear seat but I have not pulled the seat out to verify. Underneath is solid, factory undercoating is still present. This car is virtually rust free. Paint is in very good condition with good shine. There are no dents or previous body work. Vinyl top is in mint condition. The tail light assemblies are both in near mint condition. Interior is all original and in excellent condition. Both the headliner and carpet are also original and in excellent condition. All gauges and lights work. Factory AM radio works. Dash and Steering wheel are both excellent – no cracks. All glass including the windshield is good. The factory installed AC works (blows cool but could likely use a freon charge.
