Im selling this jeep for a friend his dad died and left him a new car so he has no need for the jeep anymore.This is a 1996 jeep Cherokee sport 4+4 with 143,264 original miles on it, second owner! he got it when it had 74,500 miles on it and owned it for the last 12 yrs,very well maintained jeep , with all manuals and list of work ever done on the jeep in the 12 yrs owned. all written and listed on back of manual , no accidents!!!!! it has the usual frame rust as shown in pictures but the body is in excellent shape, except for the small areas of rust starting on back quarters , I did notice when I was shampooing and cleaning out the jeep that when you put the back seat up something burnt on the seat when it was put down and put a small hole in the frame , I have a picture showing that and can be fixed easy . I took the floor mats out they were no good anymore. I just took all these pictures they are recent and I have it in my garage and the jeep wasn't even washed yet , so imagine how it would look washed and waxed! Tires alone are worth 600.00 they have been recently replaced. headliner has a few small tears and in some areas is bubbling also shown in pictures. also forgot to mention the new CD JVC Sterio and Satalite Reciever also comes with the jeep.On Aug-01-14 at 06:37:34 PDT, seller added the following information: Also PA State inspection is good till the end of Sept 2014,but I guess if you live in another state you would have it reinspected anyways.On Aug-03-14 at 07:06:57 PDT, seller added the following information: Some people are asking some real crazy questions on here,you are bidding on an 18 yr old 4+4,not a new jeep it has some cosmetic issues I have taken all the pictures I can possibly take to show the burn thru the floor under the back seat I dunno if its called the frame or chassis,its very small and I don't know how it got there,i cleaned the inside of the jeep but there are still some stains and stuff I couldn't get all the way out i would get seat covers if this was my jeep unless you are going to use it as a work truck then it will be fine,car is being sold as is,its an 18yr old jeep and its not mine so I cant give any kind of warranty with it,it runs I started it and drove it to my home and parked it in my garage and it just had a bran new radiator put in it and new wiper blades put on,jim the owner had this car for the past 12yrs and any and all work done isn't listed on here it is all in the manual written down in the back,he kept a good log of everything,oil changes every 3000 miles, the paint job on this jeep is wonderful for an 18 yr old jeep not faded and I haven't had time to wash it and probally wont get to that,the seats are cloth and there was a hole starting on the drivers side and I sewed it so it wouldn't get bigger,if anyone has an mechanical questions please feel free to ask all I got to do is call jim and he can tell me,but like I said the jeep starts and I drove it but it is being sold as is because it is 18yrs old and I cannot take a chance by giving any kind of warranty and its not my jeep. thanks for looking,happy bidding 8)On Aug-05-14 at 15:25:29 PDT, seller added the following information: Jeep starts up and runs good,no lites are on on the dash to indicate anything wrong or non working and everything works good for inspection i checked headlites and four ways and turn signals and i now have the remote for the xm radio and all paperwork for the jvc sterio,it has rust underneath but seems to be more floor boards underneath rusting rather than frame.also i put 1/2 tank of gas in it so its not low,not sure what else to write the questions are so hard to answer,but ill try to answer all!
