This is a near mint condition (other than the dust and fingerprints that I didn't have time to clean) 1980 CR250 Honda that was built to race. Was not built to be a show bike, but things kinda got out of control. Probably one of the top ten nicest 1980 CR250's ever restored. Has an ORIGINAL, not reproduction FOX SWINGARM and Fox remote shox. 1983 CR480 forks with 1987 CR250 cartridge guts, 1983 CR480 wheel, and front brake. 1983 CR480 rear hub. EVERYTHING IS NEW!!! Everything you see that is gold is gold zinc plated, like original. Nothing but the best of the best!!!! Way too much to remember, but I'll try. NOS Honda seals and bearings in motor. Original Fox swingarm. Fox remote Shox rebuilt by Thor Lawson for 200 pound expert rider. Powder coated springs and bodies. New shafts, seals, etc. New Wiseco piston and rings for Chrome bore. New All Balls wheel bearings and seals and swingarm bearings and seals. New seat cover. Powder coated frame, cases, covers, cylinder, head, Shox, springs, fork legs, wheels, and other stuff. New Michelin M12 tires. Hard compound. Best tires available. New tubes. New EBC grooved brakes. Gold zinc plated bolts, axles, nuts, brake hardware, brackets, clutch arm, retainers, cable guides and stays, etc... New VMX plastics. New Renthal bars New cables, all of them. 1987 YZ490 rear brake hub, with cable operated brake, not rod. 1987 CR250 cartridge guts machined to fit in 1983 CR480 forks. New Race Tech sliders in forks. Trick brake stay, custom made to fit the Fox swingarm. New custom made fork caps, because I couldn't find NOS. Custom made shock reservoir braket/holders. New stickers. New Buchanan stainless spokes and nipples. Custom machined aluminum spacers and motor mounts. New Scott grips. New Stainless bolts throughout, except many original bolts, nuts, washers, and axles were gold zinc plated. NOS Honda exhaust springs. NOS Honda foot peg springs. New Pro Form Pipe and silencer. New air filter. New VMX airbox cover. New trick chain guide. New O ring DID gold chain. New sprockets. Restored tank. New fork boots. Probably many other new, rebuilt, and restored parts that I'm forgetting. Countless hours and well over $12,000 building this bike. Everything was professionally done. This bike has never had oil or gas in it, since restoration. It will need to be dialed in, like any new motocross bike. Does not have a title, because in WA State, they weren't available in 1980.
