Hello. You are bidding on a 1967 Mustang coupe. Originally equipped with 6cyl 200 c.i. engine, 3 speed manual transmission, manual steering, manual drum brakes and factory air conditioning. I am the third owner and the car has been in California since new. This car has been stored indoors for the last 7 years. Condition is as follows : Engine/Drivetrain: Because this car sat for so long, the gas tank was drained, and had a new sending unit installed, new rubber lines and new fuel filter before it was started. Battery is new. Points and coil are new. Cap and rotor are new. Master cylinder is new, brakes were bled. Tires are like new. Engine runs strong and doesn`t smoke. Clutch works good, transmission shifts good. This car runs and drives but needs a complete once over. Plan on a carburetor rebuild, new belts and hoses. fresh fluids, and going through the brakes. Interior: Interior as you can see is original and in good driver condition showing wear. Headliner is in EXCELLENT condition. Carpet is also in great shape. Rear seat and all seat belts are in great shape. Drivers seat stitching is ripped in a couple of places, passengers seat is in good shape. Dash has not been cut and till has original radio. All gauges work. Heater works. Steering column is tight, turn signal switch is tight. Headlights and blinkers all work. Wipers work. Reverse lights work. Dome lamp works. Dash lights, rear running lights, and brake lamps do not work. Could use door panels eventually but they are in very useable shape as is. Door regulators work great. Window regulators work but should be lubricated. Drivers rear quarter regulator needs replaced. Wing windows work well. Body: This car has original paint so there is nothing hiding. What you see is what you get. No rust or body filler, all original body panels. Anything you see in the pictures is only surface rust. This car does not have the typical rust issues found in areas like, below the battery tray, floors, quarter panels, trunk extensions, lower doors, windows or dash, cowl or torque boxes/framerails. The car has never been in any kind of a serious accident either. Doors open, close and hang perfect, like new. The body is straight and solid and will need only minor bodywork as you can see. Glass is all in good shape. Windshield has a few chips but is acceptable as is. Overall: This is a solid project car worth the effort to drive and restore because it doesn`t need thousands of dollars worth of panel replacement. Leave as a 6cyl or convert to V8/4 speed because it`s already a stick shift.
