This is a 1947 ford coupe, powered by a Chevy 327, fueley heads , mild cam, Offenhauser manifold with tri-power, progressive linkage, Chevy rear 373 gears, coils in rear , traction bars. Ford straight axel front end, drum brakes, ford in front , Chevy in rear. Air shocks, Crager deep dish on rear with 15 in, Front are" Appliance wheels" with 14 's,tires about a year old. Fuel cell installed(15gals). Electric wipers, heater and defroster , stereo with XM radio, leather interior, console, CB radio, power antenna, aluminized exhaust system . Car is a driver, not a hanger Queen, has nicks and chips. Could use new brakes, clutch good no slip, small oil leak on timing cover. Selling to start another project, have owned her 20 yrs. Would trade for running WWII Jeep GPW, or MB. People are asking about the paint, it was lacquer painted back in 1981 I believe a GM color I think it's called Fire thorne, has some cracking line on rear fender .Car has been garaged and covered always, but has been on the road since the 80's.The pic's you see were taken on 7/22/14.
