ngine: 8 Cylinder 248 CI Special B-Series with Dual Carburetion (Only Production Year Buick Ever Offered Multiple Carbs)This is the much sought after original 1941 Super Sport Coupe 56S vehicle. There is no indication there was ever any rust and no filler used. The front wiring, including dash and engine compartment, has been replaced with NOS braded wiring harness for perfect match. The front bumper chrome is peeling around bumper horns. There was never a heater installed which has kept the floor boards intact (most problems in these areas of this vintage were caused by leaking heaters).The car was kept by the original owner for 50 plus years in a garage which kept interior intact although there are some signs of aging on instruments. The original owners traded it in at a Buick dealership that repainted it. It was then sold to a collector and then to me. I have had it for 15 years always garaged kept. Tires are good as well as the spare. Engine runs great with no smoking or signs of excessive wear. It also has the hard to find rear fender skirts. The original owners traded it in at a Buick dealership that repainted it. My grandfather alerted me of this after I had posted it. He also has a stack of paperwork of maintenance documents adding up to around three thousand dollars. I have pictures of the motor and interior, just message me if you are curious.
