I am selling an all original 1962 Oldsmobile Starfire. This is a rare car and will make someone a really great Hot Rod. This car has the original 394 V-8 (345 hp) with an automatic transmission that cranks first time and sounds great. This is a numbers matching car that will make someone a great daily driver or a great candidate for restoration. The car has 53,187 original miles and the Starfire has power windows, power steering, power brakes and power drivers side front seat. The brakes work great and the car stops on a dime. The power windows do work, but will need new switches installed as it is difficult to make a good connection. This car also has the original air conditioning and is a great option on this car. The air conditioned will need to be hooked back up, but I have no reason to believe it will not work. The seats will need to be reupholstered, but everything is there and the back seat is in good shape. The gauges and dash on this car are in great shape, as well as the steering wheel. The wheels and tires are in good shape and really look great on the car. This car was bought out of Arizona and has no rust in the floor pans and minimal rust on the body. The trunk pan will likely need to be patched, but it is the only spot in the floor that needs repair. I have taken pictures of the bad spots on the body and they can be seen below. I would trust driving this car across the country and I really am looking forward to seeing it go to a good home. The Starfire has a lot of great features and is truly an awesome Hot Rod. I have driven this car and it drives great and will really make someone a great car.
