Vehicle Detail
This is a real nice SUV. I bought this when it was around three or four years old (just coming off a lease, I think). It has been regularly maintained, and runs very nicely. I know it's hard to buy a vehicle sight-unseen, so I'll try to give a very accurate description that, along with the photos, should make you feel like you had a virtual walk-through. Let's start with the body. This truck has never been in a major accident. There are some minor dings, scratches, etc, but the long gouge on the lower passenger side is the worst it has ever suffered. All the Glass is in great condition as well. It also has after-market push-bar, and Thule roof racks. The interior is about as worn as you would expect from a truck of this age, but with the exception of the drivers side seat (which has the obvious tear on the edge) it is not in too bad a shape, as you can see in the photos. I have the third row seat, although it has been in my shed for years, as I didn't need to use it. It is in good shape, although could use a good cleaning if you're going to use it. The power mirrors work. The power seat (drivers side) works. The wipers (front & back) work. The A/C works, but the lower speeds of the fan do not, so it is either fully off, or fully on, which has not really been a problem for me because that's how I use it anyway. The Stereo is the Premium Sound System from the factory with AM/FM, Cassette, and 6 Disc CD changer. I put in a new sub-woofer a couple of years ago when the original crapped out. It really sounds great. The Aux power outlets (2 of them) and cigarette lighter outlet all work. The Cruise control works. The entire suspension System was replaced with new conventional shocks and springs, rather than sink the same money into repairing the old air-bag suspension that was in it (so you can disregard when the "check suspension" light when it occasionally comes on, as it no longer applies. The tires are a few years old, and still have plenty of life, as you can see in the photo. They are nice Cooper All-Terrains, as I used to go on the Four-Wheel-Drive beach a lot with it (I haven't in a few years because the beaches around here eroded a lot from the storms, and the corrupt local government that collects the highest taxes in the nation from us, won't repair them). The 4X4 works. The transmission works great. The engine itself runs great, as it has been well maintained whenever it needed anything done. The battery is a couple of years old, and works great. All in all, I think it's a great truck that I'll miss. I think I pretty much covered everything. The VIN# is posted above if you'd like to run a carfax on it to verify everything that I said. If you have any questions, I'll certainly try to answer them to the best of my knowledge. If you are in the area and would like to see it personally, you can do so by appointment (I'll be home most of the week, in Bellmore, NY). The truck must be picked up in Bellmore, Long Island, New York (near Jones Beach State Park) within one week of auctions end. You can pay by paypal, or cash on pick-up, whichever you're comfortable with. I hope I succeeded in drawing an accurate depiction. Thanks for reading, and Happy bidding.
