Offered for auction is a rare 1984 Fiat Pininfarina Azurra Spider. Spiders built after 1982 were fully assembled in Italy, in very limited numbers by coach builder Malcolm Bricklin. The Pininfarina was only produced for two years. After 35 years, not many are known to exist. This particular vehicle has spent most of its life in sunny California. With a recent $3,800 paint restoration, this spider has a mirror like finish with only a few flaws. During the paint restoration both the door stop latches were removed and not replaced, which caused the doors to open farther than they should. This caused a small crack in the paint on the left fender (see photos). The doors still function properly. There is also a light windshield scratch. If you look really hard you may find a VERY MINOR nick or scratch consistent with a vehicle of this age. The chrome is all excellent, as well as the convertible top. The interior is a custom leather cloth combination by master craftsman Chester Bortz. Finally for your listing pleasure, this Pininfarina is equipped with an upgraded JVC CD player with SONY speakers.
