Up for auction is a one of a kind custom built 1931 Ford Model A 5 window coupe. I am listing this for a friend. Her dad built this car and he has past away. I am listing what we know about the car and what family and friends have been able to tell us. So please if you see something that I have listed wrong dont be afarid to tell me. The car has always been in a heated garage. it has 17,798 miles on it. The motor is a gm small block built to the gills. Unfortunately we can not find the build sheet for this. He was a self employed millwright and mechanic that built motors for drag cars and tractor pulling.We know the motor was blueprinted & balanced and dyno tested. We also know he custom made the valve covers to look like big block 351 covers. The transmission is believed to be a turbo 350. There is a bouton on the gear shifter that when held down will let you get more rpms out of the trans befor it will shift I believe its called a manual valve body. It has a 12 bolt GM rear end, Weld Wheels with coustom made Ford center caps. Polished Stainless exhaust & hangers, 3 piece Rootlieb hood, flush fit windshield, VDO Gauges, sun roof, GM tilt column with billet specialty wheel,brown leather interior, 1941 chevy led tail lights, stainless nerf bars on front, steel body, fiberglass fenders. Alpine CD player. Car has been to and won many car shows. We will continue to look for the file on this car that would tell every inch of the build but i can not promise we will find it. This car is ready to go needs nothing.
