1955 Pontiac Starchief 4dr Sedan. This car has been sitting in a garage since the mid 1980`s, and the car is very original, motor, trans, interrior.Has had a repaint I believe in the late 70`s. 5 new tires, four barrel carb has been rebuilt, as wel as the master brake booster. All the tinted glass is very good no milking, and they go up and down like they should. Motor runs great, trans shifts like it should, all the lights work including the light on top of the hood and trunk lights.The car has power steering, power brakes, power antenna[it works] radio does not.The interrior is amazing, all leather seats with one split by the seat adjuster and the drivers front door panel, great headliner, carpeting is fair.All the gauges work except the clock, I have not seen a 55 that did. Dash lights used to work when I played with the head light switch but not this year.The car has very little rust, both rear dog legs, inside both rockers, where the trunks meets the rear lip and by the right side head light, LOOK AT THE PICTURES. Looks like the car was rustprooved when new but some of it is cracking.I did dtive the car for the first time this year and noticed a noisy front wheel bearing, did not hear it last year. Other tan that the car drove fine.The car will also need a pinion seal, it`s leaking.Missing are the rear bumper wings and the remote mirror. I do have a 1955 Pontiac Starchief 4dr sedan parts car, close to being the same as the one listed above, four barrel engine[carb rebuilt] auto trans, power brakes, power steeing, power antenna[dont work it tries], green and white with matching leather interrior, 4 new tires, runs and drives great. $2500.
