BMW 325i 1993 5 Speed Four Door (OBD1) TAKE ADVANTAGE OF MY MOVE. GREAT CAR, GREAT PRICE. I AM MOVING in 2 WEEKS. Up for sale is my old soft shoe. I have had this car for many years. Never had a problem with it. I brought three kids home from UC hospital with it. I traveled all over California and the US in this car. I have maintained it to the best of my ability. Although it has high mileage, it still gets 28 MPG highway, and burns or leaks no oil. The clutch is still nice and the transmission shifts smoothly. The car has always been a California car, never left California, it has always been a California car. It came down from No. Cal (Berkeley) after living in San Diego, then back to San Diego. Currently it is registered in Naples Florida where I have another residence. Title is clear in my name. The only reason I am selling is because I am moving back east. I love this car and so does my wife. It still has a lot of life and is still very peppy. I have had the fuel system completely re-done including injectors, and have always changed the oil at 3,000. I use 20W50 in it. The good: No rust anywhere. The chassis is super clean. The car runs like a top. Paint is good with fading on the roof. Leather nterior is super nice, with the only tear on the driver's side seat seam. Carpet and interior is very nice. Dash has no cracks. The 1993 E36 had fold down seats (see photos) that was discontinued for 1994. This is a great option. What needs work: Drivers side window and driver's side passenger window switches, the rear passenger door outside handle, the sunroof, and the ac needs to be charged (I charge it every two years). The clear coat is faded on the roof. The rear bumper has paint chips, and the rear bumper driver's side support is pushed in a little (this is the minor issue that autocheck came up with). I would take this car anywhere. Every year I take it to Monterey. and wine country. I have driven it to Sonoma from San Diego four times. I have driven it all over California. I looked really hard for a 5-speed E36. Good ones are not easy to find. Clear title in my name. I have talked to Bimmer mechanics out here in SoCal and they have told me that this year, 5-speed, 4 door make the best racing cars in some class so it may be a great candidate for that.
