1989 Euro BMW (Ebay system puts year to 1980): It's one of those rare wagons in still a pretty good condition, so I shipped it over and went through the customs procedure which sometimes straines one's phantasy. Then I had it trucked to Los Angeles. Now, as it is exempt of DOT and EPA, you can register at your local DMV as is with the Euro title and customs papers. Only if you live in CA, watch out for smog. (Easiest is maybe to swap engine from a CA Bimmer.) In all other states registration is straight forward, it will just take a few days to get your US title handed out. We did it several times and will walk you through. The mileage is still low for the 325 with 248.000 km = 154,000 miles. Engine starts right up, purrs and sprints nicely. All driving is fine. 25% diff lock. Interior and leather is very nice, only driver seat has been replaced. No cracks in dash! Rust in passenger door, obv. the window sealing wasn't okay for a while. All other delicate areas are, as shown, clean. Minimal TLC will make this a malachitgreen E30 wagon so many people are looking for. Of course LHD as it should be not only in drive-throughs but on every crossing or highway. If you think being alive is a value on its own. Air condition!
