The vehicle currently has 81,244 miles, & was removed from service in May 2014 as part of our normal vehicle rotation cycle. The vehicle has the check engine light illuminated on the instrument cluster. The vehicle also appears to have a slightly rough idle & the left rear turn signal is not working. The tires have approximately 20 – 30% tread remaining tires. The exterior is in fair condition. The truck overall has multiple dings & scratches. The hood has multiple scratches & chips present. The front bumper has multiple scratches & dings. The driver side front fender has multiple light scratches & dings. The driver side front & rear doors both have multiple light scratches & dings. The driver side rear door has a more noticeable dent from where the front bed compartment door has swung & hit the door. The amber top strobe light & base to the work radio antenna remains installed on the roof. There are also multiple light scratches, pits & dings present on the roof. The service body has small holes through the top of it towards the front of the body where a roof rack was previously mounted. All the service body doors have scratches, dings, & dents present. The service body driver side front door rod is broken & allows the door to swing freely. The liftgate is rusted in some spots on the bottom supports. The passenger side front & rear doors both have multiple light scratches & dings. The passenger side front fender has multiples scratches & dings, along with one larger dent in the middle of the fender on the edge near the hood. The interior is in good condition. There are 8 small screw holes present on the lower center dash from where the work radio was previously mounted. The radio mic holder remains mounted on the dash. This vehicle was serviced on a 120-day preventive maintenance cycle. It was last serviced in December 2014 at 76,986 miles. Other repairs to this vehicle include the following items. In mid-may 2013, at 72,717 miles, both front tires were replaced. In May 2013 at 72,603 miles, the spark plugs, spark plug boots, front brake pads, front brake pad rotors, and wheel seals were replaced. In Oct 2012, at 68,264 miles, the brake switch on the master cylinder was replaced. In Sept 2012, at 67,724 miles, the trailer plug wiring was repaired. In Dec 2010, the toggle switch for the strobe lights was replaced. In Nov 2010, at 55,717 miles, two rear tires & two marker light bulbs were replaced. In Dec 2009, at 49,160 miles, the battery was replaced. Also in Dec 2009, at 49,102 miles, the rear brake pads, rear rotors, & wheel seals were replaced. In Jun 2009, at 46,263 miles, the right rear outer tire was replaced. In Jan 2009, at 43,040 miles, the ball joints were replaced. In Dec 2008,a t 42,617 miles, two rear marker light lenses were replaced. In Mar 2008, at 37,632 miles, the battery was replaced. In Mar 2008, at 37,146 miles, the front brake pads, front tires, & rear brake pads were replaced. In Apr 2007, at 32,287 miles, the battery was replaced. In Mar 2007, at 31,293 miles, the left rear backup light was replaced & the vehicle had a factory recall (Ford #05S28) repaired at the local Ford dealer. In Oct 2006, at 29,602 miles, the rear lower marker light lenses were replaced. In Nov 2005, at 23,127 miles, two rear marker light bulbs were replaced. This vehicle can be viewed between the hours of 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding national holidays, at the City of Champaign Public Works Department, 702 Edgebrook Drive, Champaign, Illinois. The vehicle must be picked up between the hours of 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday at the same location. The City of Champaign is required to sell all vehicles through an auction process.
