1988 Toyota Celica GT convertible. Excellent condition, all services completed on time including timing belt, new exhaust, new belts, hoses and fluids. This 5-speed is a fun car to drive with excellent fuel mileage (in the 30's mpg). Garage kept, rust free Colorado car. They bought it brand new, When they retired to move to Hawaii they found out how expensive it is to have a car shipped over to the islands and after a few pleading looks from the wife it came to live with us. We have really enjoyed the car and are sad to sell, but our years are catching up with us too and automatic transmissions are our new friends.( btw don't ever have a bad hip.) I know it has always been garage kept by our friends and us as well ,it has been serviced on or before time and it runs better and we think looks better than many newer cars out there. over the years of ownership i highly doubt many cars have led such an easy life, a heated garage for the winter, baths and waxes regularly and the paint shows it. fresh fluids, belts, hoses and brakes, new shoes i.e. tires as needed. we get lots of compliments any time we are out. The newest item on the car is a new exhaust from front to rear last year, timing belt was done and is good until 180,000 miles. the last time we went to the local car show we won best 80s convertible. it really is a super nice car, motor runs flawlessly, transmission shifts great, drives straight down the road and gets great gas mileage to boot. and if all that isn't enough you can lower the power windows, hit the switch for the power top and really cruise in style...convertible style that is.We just want the car to go to a good home, someone that will enjoy and care for it like it is a member of the family. if there are any questions left we can answer please let us know. please excuse all grammer mistakes they are mine.
