I bought this car for my wife's 40th birthday - June 2010. The 1st owner was an elderly couple who had purchased the car new for their "extra" vehicle. About 4 1/2 years ago, someone "turned into them" in a parking lot. The passenger door needed to be replaced and the insurance company told them that they were totaling the vehicle, because the brand new door was too expensive to replace. The owner didn't know that they had other options, because my wife called the original owners. They were actually devastated that they could have kept the car and replaced the door with a used one. We purchased the car from the dealer who bought and replaced the door. I have been driving this car back and forth to work over the past couple of years. It is in great running condition and gets excellent gas mileage (32mpg). PLEASE disregard the last photo of the Green MR2, for some reason we haven't been able to delete from the photos and this listing is for a 1991 Red/Charcoal MR2 ONLY!
