Time for a new project, wife wants a blue truck and I'm not painting this one. Has had cab/frame off resto at one point in it's life. 1st repaint that I can tell. 1965 dark yellow ( bright orange) color. The under cab is spotless and nice-fresh. No rust through or oxidation anywhere. A couple small bubles at the hood corner and fender corner under the paint. For the buy it now price, these areas wil be professionally repaired and panels refinished in Diamont/BASF. New Mar-K moldings and New shaved/lettered flip handle gate with shaved chains and Mar-K's strut kit. Bed boards individually Line-x'ed including inner bed area leaving stainless polished strips. Was told it's a 383 ( and runs like it) has World heads, edlebrock, rams horns, mild thumpy cam MSD HEI with GM module--the thing rips 700r4 shifts great. I routinely drive this truck round trip 70 miles daily and have made several out of State trips to shows, swap meets etc with it. Has a custom hidden hitch and I tow often. 2 sets of powdercoated wheels and different caps. New stainless brake lines front to rear complete, new rubber hoses, dual cylinder 4 wheel disc. Bagged, new ball joints, shocks, bushings etc. huge sway bar from a suburban, dropped spindles, notched, 1/4 lines to manual gauges semi hidden panel. Compressor gauge installed in heat control plate at dash. Keyless remote Alarm system, Tilt column, Powersteering, and a restored deluxe wheel. Gauge cluster has 62 Pontiac colored vac gauge and a vintage Sun Football tach buried behind and lit. LED lighting under dash, seat and behind seat reflecting up into cab ( cool at night) All glass good driver, newer carpet, new heated custom seat ( chopped and new foam with heat grids) matching cowhide side panels and shift boot. Shotgun/umbrella pouch sewn behind seat along with additional storage. Have Vintage Air underdash A/C new uninstalled with Sanden compressor system, condenser all lines etc ready to go in. C60 grille rechromed and LED back lit. All new fuse panel and complete wire harness. CD Bluetooth Aux player. Blue dot tail lights and a new set of non blue dot lenses. This is a great driver that I wouldn't be afraid to drive anywhere.
