This truck has under gone a frame off restoration from the previous owner, the gentleman is a retired mechanic, he explained to me that he has a lot of time on his hands, so every fall he starts a restoration project, he is very fond of the 67 thru 72 C10 trucks, so that is all he plays around with. This truck was completely disassembled right down to the frame. I n which he kindly showed me his work shop behind his home, he built an I beam sliding chain fall, that's how he removed the bed and cab, all by him self he noted. He took all the suspension apart and rebuilt and replaced parts as needed, he also did all the brakes, this one is equipped with power disc, rear drum. It has all new body mounts, I took some pics to show the bottom of the truck, it is very apparent that it has been carefully cleaned up and painted. His main goal was to make sure it was protected from corrosion, Its not a show quality job, but a nice job for sure. he said it took over 400 hours of his time to do the whole truck , he works most of the day on them, but I can tell he loved doing it. The engine was also totally dissembled and rebuilt, new rings, bearings, even had a valve job done. It starts right up, no smoke, noises of any kind, and it doesn't leak.The Air conditioning is also brand new and will freeze you out. Power is transferred through the 700R4 which gives you overdrive for cruising on the highway. The truck is in very good condition, something you would feel proud to take on a nice road trip or even just down to the local cruise night. There is no rust on the truck, I tried to take pics of the specific places where these trucks rust, all the cab supports are solid, as well as the bed supports. It has a new Linex spray in bed liner, The wheels were sand blasted and powder coated, they are 15x8 5 lug pattern. Under the hood looks pretty nice, the fender wells were also sand blasted and powder coated. The engine compartment looks nice and clean, he did a great job on the truck, its not a 50k truck like you would see on Overhaulin, its a nice clean, rust free, dependable driver, in which the price reflects.
