After the shop had all the body work completed, they took it to the Subaru dealer to reset the airbag system, the Subaru dealer said it would take a new passenger seat, which would cost approximately $2500. Notice this was the price of a NEW seat, you may be able to get one used for quite a bit less. After hearing the estimate for the repairs the insurance company decided they didn’t want to pay this unexpected repair so they totaled it.
