Vehicle Detail
Beautiful Porsche Boxter. Yes only 59k miles. Sat for 3 years garaged. Was owned by a friend's grandfather who's health rapidly deteriorated. Judging by the tread on one of the rear tires, you can tell, he enjoyed the car. The car was purchased and serviced in Sarasota. Have dealer's records up till about 38k. Clear Title, Automatic w/ Tiptronic steering wheel shifters. Radio has the code on it and I suppose I or you could get that from the dealer. Very Clean interior. Leather seats were reconditioned. Had a 1 inch cut in the passenger seat that was sewn up and some cracks in the driver's seat that are not noticeable unless you stare at it. Same with the paint. It is very shiny overall. Some scratches and one ding on the fender but not very obvious. Must see it to judge for yourself. Tires are good. One rear is new, the other one almost looks like a slick, which you will probably want to replace unless you are planning on drift or drag racing the car. haha Crazy sounding futuristic alarm system installed by the factory. Top is fully automatic and works great. The top is in great overall shape too. The rear window had a few cuts but been repaired with a special German vinyl glue. May want to get a new window sewn in or a glass one which only costs about $75. If you don't mind it too much and are going to put the top down, then I wouldn't worry about it. I personally replaced the water pump less than about 20 miles ago along with thermostat and oil changed. The overall underlying problem is that it will leak a good amount of oil when you drive it hard. A Porsche specialist did say that it most likley needs new cam seals. We are confident that if you have whatever oil problem looked at and fixed, even in worst case scenario, if it costs you upwards of $1000, you will be getting a beautiful sports car worth over $10k for thousands less. These are high estimates and are in no way accurate as to what they would cost you to do repairs yourself. Email me or call me 9.4.1.-.9.2.8-..3.8.1.9 if you are interested. I am in Sarasota, Fl 34231 The car is also for sale locally so I have the right to pull the auction if it sells.
