Vehicle Detail
1982 Honda CB650 Nighthawk This is a customers bike. Since it has been gone through he has had a tragedy in the family which changed his priorities drastically. The fellow is somewhat of a friend so the bike was repaired with care paid my shop over $1500 for:New Tireswindshieldcomplete carb rebuild New CablesRebuild brake Hydraulicsnew brake padsNew gel batteryPlugssynthetic oil and filterNew Petcock (Honda Original Part)Fuel filterNew gas linesHondaLine accessory Crash BarsLaborI honestly think this is the most stylish Motorcycle Honda ever designed. I should say the nicest CRAIG VETTER ever designed, and Honda copied...It looks exactly like the 750 Triumph HURRICANE! The Vetter Hurricane holds the Moniker as the first "cruiser" (Google the Triumph Hurricane and check it out for yourself). This is the Last year of the single overhead cam Four Cyl Honda motors. They are very refined and smooth. The motor is quiet and the torque is down low. It reminds me of My BMW as you don't have to wring it out to get at the Horsepower, however when you do it responds smartly. This bike has very low miles and has a relaxed seating position. With the included windshield you could literally ride this to the west coast in comfort. Its better on gas than my CB550F because of the constant velocity carbs that adjust to riding conditions and altitude. It runs like a new bike, starts immediately, shifts smoothly and is very comfortable to ride. It also hauls a passenger with no trouble. The bike was purchased by a acquaintance who told me to spare no expense when recommissioning it.I must say reverently "his loss is your gain..." See my 100% feedback score... Please look the photos over carefully and ask any questions about the bike.I can be reached at 239 404 3600 for direct communication. (Dave at Legendary-Motorcycles) This bike will be sold to the highest bidder, however I reserve the right to cancel the auction at anytime due to the fact it will be advertised locally and I have no control over a fellow handing me a handful of cash. For this I will have the buy it now price set at what he paid for the bike and the shop invoice. These bikes are legendary for their quality mechanical durability and beauty.
