Thank you for viewing my ad. This is a 1978 Mercedes-Benz 450 SL rare color combination of 735 paint - Astral Silver Metallic, over 207 upholstery - red leather seats and a black soft top. The mileage is low at 61,541. The condition is magnificent as you will view the pictures and see for yourself. This is a two-owner car that has been kept in a climate controlled environment its entire life; never driven in inclement weather. The two owners were friends. When the first owner was diagnosed with a terminal illness he offered the car to his friend; the second owner. He purchased the car in 2007 with 58600 miles on the car. He saw that the original paint had developed cracks and decided to have the car completely striped and professionally painted in 2007. The car was kept continuously in a climate controlled environment. In thirty-nine years of Mercedes-Benz mechanical experience it is very rare to come across such a magnificent example.
