Up for auction is a 1963 Volkswagen Beetle. I am no expert on cars, but I will tell you everything I know about this vehicle. This vehicle has been in the family for more that 40 years, my dad owned it and took care of it for many years, he gave it to me 10 years ago and I do not have the space to store it anymore. Everything appears to be original, it has been converted over to 12volts. The car is operational. Brake pedal sticks. The accelerator pedal broke, temporary fixed it, but will need addressed. Antenna broke off. The radio does not work, probably because it is 6volts. It has 29,930 miles on the speedometer, in the manual he wrote that he replaced the speedometer on August 22, 1972 and the old meter read 65,649. Drives, rides and sounds like it should. Feel free to ask me any question and I will answer to the best of my knowledge. Body has some rust spots in areas but otherwise pretty solid. Also if you need any detailed pics, let me know.
