I bought this 450SL 4 years ago, I have done many to restore it, including many little things. It now has a new soft top. And most of the rust is fixed, except the bottom and the right rear wheel wall. But I found coolant on the ground last week after driving it in the neighborhood, its leaking from the engine somewhere. Due to aging, health issue, and ability. I could not continue with the restoration work anymore. ( I was thinking to paint it before the summer, before I found the leak) Please let me know if you have any questions. Its has a brand new battery ($100 from Walmart), bought a few weeks ago.
