THIS CAR IS VERY WORTHY OF A RESTORATION OR JUST DRIVE HER LIKE SHE ISCLEAR COLORADO TITLE HERE IS SOME INFO ON THE 430 TBIRD FROM A FELLOW EBAYER WELL VERSED ON THIS CARHi, I thought I might offer some information about the production numbers of these 430 V-8 Thunderbirds. Of the 67,456 Thunderbirds built for 1959, the best estimate of 430 production is in the neighborhood of 7,000 to 8,000 cars. What is unusual about this particular car is that it is relatively low-optioned (no power windows or air conditioner) in combination with having the 430. Of the 992 Thunderbirds of this year presently accounted for in the Thunderbird Registry, just 101 have the 430 engine, or a little less than 1-in-9. This car is an excellent candidate for restoration, actually a prime specimen because of its low options it is much less expensive to restore.
