The vehicle currently has 96,646 miles, & was removed from service in Apr 2014 as part of our normal vehicle rotation cycle. The vehicle appears to drive well with no apparent issues. The tires have approximately 40 - 50% tread remaining tires. The backup alarm does not appear to be functioning. The exterior is in fair condition. The truck overall has multiple dings & scratches. There are multiple light scratches & dings present on the hood. The front bumper has multiple light scratches & dings. The driver side front fender has a small (less than dime size) dent at the top of the wheel well. The driver side front & rear doors both have multiple light scratches & dings. The amber top strobe light & base to the work radio antenna remains installed on the roof. There are also multiple light scratches & dings present on the roof. The service body has rust & some small holes through the top of it towards the front of the body where a roof rack was previously mounted. All the service body doors have scratches, dings, & dents present. Both of the service body front door rods are broken & allow the doors to swing freely. The liftgate is rusted through in some spots on the bottom supports. The passenger side front & rear doors both have multiple light scratches & dings. The interior is in good condition. The passenger side front door is missing the reflector & lower weatherstripping. This door also has some minor rusting present. There are some scratches present on the front of the glovebox. There are 7 small screw holes present on the center & lower center dash from where the work radio & mic were both previously mounted. The armrest vinyl covering is loose due to missing some fasteners. The ceiling also has some spots where is has minor discoloration present This vehicle was serviced on a 120-day preventive maintenance cycle. It was last serviced in February 2014 at 95,328 miles. Other repairs to this vehicle include the following items. In Feb 2014, at 95,328 miles, the idle air control (IAC) valve, fuel pump & fuel filter were replaced. In late Jan 2014, at 95,186 miles, the front brake pads & all spark plugs were replaced. In May 2013, at 91,800 miles, one tail light & the battery were replaced. In Aug 2012, at 87,510 miles, the right rear tail light connecter & brake pressure switch at the master cylinder were replaced. Also, the rear center light ground wire was repaired. In Dec 2008, at 57,286 miles, the fuel filter was replaced & the catalytic converter was replaced at the local Ford dealer. In early Dec 2008, at 57,227 miles, the battery was replaced. In Sep 2008, at 55,243 miles, the upper & lower ball joints & front brake pads were replaced. Also, the front wheel bearings were repacked. In July 2008, at 53,924 miles, the rear brake pads were replaced. In Mar 2008, at 51,471 miles, the ground wiring to the rear tail lights were repaired. In Jan 2008, at 50,398 miles, the left rear marker light was replaced. In Oct 2007, at 47,892 miles, the AM/FM radio was replaced. The vehicle must be picked up between the hours of 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday at the same location. The City of Champaign is required to sell all vehicles through an auction process.
