Vehicle Detail
This is my 1986 Honda CB700 S Nighthawk. I'm putting it up for sale because I have three motorcycles and just don't have the time to enjoy them all. This bike is in great condition for a bike that is 28 years old. It's not perect, but she turns heads everytime I take her out. I have made several repairs to the bike and will list them below. This is not a complete restoration so if you want a "like new" bike there are things that can still be done. There is nothing that "needs" to be done and you can ride this bike anywere, anytime. Comes with original owner's manual, Honda Shop Manual, original Honda Brochure and my book of purchase and service records. Comes with two OEM Honda Wing Keys. Positives: ASV Shorty Clutch and Brake Levers-New Galfer Stainless Steel Two Line Brake Hoses-New Galfer Stainless Steel Clutch Line- New, but not installed. Fuel Petcock rebuilt with New OEM Honda parts Avon ST Radial Tires- New Corbin Seat Exhaust Gaskets-New NGK Spark Plugs-New Front Brake Calipers rebuilt with all new seals and pads Rear brake shoes, EBC-New One throttle cable replaced with new Honda OEM Cable and comes with new spare "A" and "B" Honda OEM Cables Carbs replaced with a Newly rebuilt set Oil changed with Honda Oil and Filters Rear Final Drive Oil replaced with Lucas Gear Oil OEM Honda Hand grips-New I replaced the rear turnsignals with Honda CBR 1000 Smoked Signals because they look way better than the original signals(IMO). I do have the original signals that I removed, but I believe they are aftermarket OEM Style. I also replaced the front lenses with clear ones, but I do have the original Honda Amber Lenses. Please ask any questions and I will answer the best I can. Can provide more photos if needed. Mileage will go up a little as I still ride it some. Negatives: She smokes a little Blue smoke when first started, but clears up within a few minutes. I think the carbs need adjustment- running rich. There are a few scrapes on the fairing on the edges and an extra hole has been drilled in the left side for an extra srew. One of the tabs on the Right Side Panel has been glued back on. On May-18-14 at 07:23:48 PDT, seller added the following information: The scrapes on the fairing are on the Right and Left side in the same place. The Right side is the worst of the two as pictured. The paint has came off the front wheel is spots, and there is a small crease in the front fender. Also have the tool kit, but some tools may be missing as I don't know what it came with.On May-19-14 at 10:31:10 PDT, seller added the following information: I have the OEM Seat for the bike. It has a few small tears in the covering, but it is very usable. It comes with the bike. I also have the OEM Levers and they are included too.
