Salvage

This bike was bought from an insurance company and has a salvage title. It had 7,000 miles on it when purchased. The reason for the tilte being a salvage was suppose to be the previous owner was short and fell over a couple of times and did some minor damage to the plastic and refused to fix or ride it anymore. I bought the bike and fixed a couple of fairing tangs--repainted the bike with the factory blue and have ridden the bike since. The motor and gearbox are flawless along with all mechanical parts of the bike. The issues with the bike now are flashing warning lights on the dash caused by a local (non BMW dealer) who snapped of both tire pressure monitors when replacing tires (they appeared to be corroded and not the dealears fault)--ABS lights flashing after having the same dealer replace brakes and bled and replace brake fluid. I have sinced learned that only a BMW dealer can effectively service these bikes. I don't live near a dealer or I would have gone that route. The alarm did work but after changing the remote batteries it appears that it to needs some sort of code reset. The bike performs great and is a pleasure to ride with no issues as far as riding goes.
