Vehicle Detail

1979 Porsche 928 - Vehicle does not run but turns over. I'm not a mechanic and tried to figure this out via Youtube and just have no idea what I'm doing. I know the previous owner replaced the fuel pump and the injectors get fuel. The car has spark and we tried to get it it to fire several times but we just don't know what we are doing. My guess is someone with Porsche experience probably would have it going as it shows only 101,000 miles and the previous owner said it was running as of a year ago. All of the original parts are there plus more as the previous owner collected extras. I even have a Porsche CIS Fuel Injection Pressure Gauge that you can't find for less than $200 online right now. I'll throw that in to the winner of this auction. Body is really nice and straight though the paint job is faded. California car. Aluminum body. Parts car or project. About the car: The Porsche 928 was a luxury sports-GT car that was sold by Porsche AG of Germany from 1978 to 1995. Originally intended to replace the company's iconic 911, the 928 combined the power, poise, and handling of a sports car with the refinement, comfort, and equipment of a luxury sedan to create what some Porsche executives thought would be a vehicle with wider appeal than the compact, quirky and sometimes difficult 911. Since its inception in 1949, Porsche has manufactured only six front-engined models, four of which were coupes, including the 928. The car has the distinction of being the company's only coupe powered by a front-mounted V8 engine, and the company's first mass-produced V8 powered model.
