Vehicle Detail
let me start by saying that the reserve is over $15k but not above $20k. 1964 Chevrolet C10 shortbed stepside refinished in 1964 chevrolet silver blue metallic. 350/th400/12 bolt with 4:10. the engine is a 4bolt main that was bored/blueprinted and balanced. the transmission is rebuilt and the differential was recently gone through, rebearinged, 1 new axle and pinion gear and ring gear. new driveshaft. new aluminum radiator. B&m shifter. Patriot headers and old 'chevrolet' script valve covers. HEI distributor. old tach and SW oil pressure guage that work. Felix Chevrolet original water-transfer decals on wing windows. the truck was lowed with CPP 5/3 inch drop with panhard bar. new upper/lower ball joints and upper lower control arm bushings. upper/lower control arms were blasted and painted when off. alignment completed and drives tight and very nicely. has drum brakes that work very well(all new wheel cylinders, brake hoses and shoes, and manual steering(new ragjoint too). new red oak wood bed (marine spar varnished 3X) with stainless slats and fasteners. fan/heater work. wipers work as well as all lamps/guages too. new horn contacts/cancel cam etc. new tires all around. new weatherstrips/mouldings etc. stainless fittings here and there when available. pretty much everything new or nicely restored. this is one very nice truck that gets a ton of attention everywhere it goes. drive it anywhere and does very well and runs cool. painted bed seperately from the cab and the cab was painted inside and out with all glass out etc. just a super nice truck and a lot of fun. probably will make one of the nicer dailey drivers you'd find out there, but currently only weekend driven. I will stress that i have only driven to car to shows and weekends. the truck is fresh, runs awesome, drives nice and been very good to me reliability-wise. had frame measured and checked to be sure it was straight prior to resto. any questions please ask.....thanks and God bless out there! On May-17-14 at 10:42:51 PDT, seller added the following information: adding that the belts/hoses/tires fluids are all new. aluminum radiator new and fits original brackets. fan and heater/defrost works-no a/c(just to answer a couple peoples questions.)
