See many pics at: http://www.picturetrail.com/sfx/album/view/24542089 1989 Buick Electra Estate Station Wagon. This was a one-owner car until I bought it in 2006. Beautiful collector quality. Gorgeous black with woodgrain - even back when these wagons were common, black was a seldom seen color. Paint is glossy and smooth. Woodgrain is in exceptional condition with only a few minor nicks. All chrome and bright trim is in excellent shiny condition - no cloudiness, no pitting. Vinyl bumper fillers are all in great condition - and original - as this car was always kept garaged. Tan interior with cloth seats. Very clean, very nice. Last year for the woodgrain upper door panels that match the outside woodgrain - a very classy styling feature. Interior was never smoked in. Headliner is still in great shape. 73,800 miles. All original. Always garaged and cared for. Straight. Clean. No rust repairs anywhere, ever. Runs and drives beautifully. Idles smooth. No leaks underneath. 5.0 liter 307 V8 engine - uses no oil. Automatic transmission shifts properly and works perfectly. No leaks. Needs nothing. Everything works - including the air conditioning, and power antenna (which I currently have unplugged to keep it from wearing out like almost all did). Loaded with almost everything available in 1989 - including the more uncommon options - like twilight sentinel, illuminated outside key locks, fiber optic light monitors on the top front fenders, and electronic automatic climate control. I added the Buick aluminum wheels with the small centers and exposed chrome lug nuts. Originally came with the wire spoke wheel covers - which I still have if you prefer that look. Tires are a matching set of 4 in excellent condition. Deep tread. See many pics at: http://www.picturetrail.com/sfx/album/view/24542089 Fly in, or Amtrak, or Greyhound - and drive home. Here are close-up photos of a 2-inch scratch on the rear left, next to the tailgate - and some nicks in the woodgrain on the right side. http://www.picturetrail.com/sfx/album/view/24552016 There are no dents. Other than some tiny chips in the paint in various areas - the 2-inch scratch on the left rear is the only significant flaw in the finish. And there are small nicks in the right side woodgrain, as shown in one photo. All the rest of the woodgrain is virtually flawless. I had the hood and header repainted soon after I bought the car - because it had some scratches in the hood and many stone chips in the header. I removed all the hood chrome, grille, grille border trim, hood ornament, headlight bezels, and fender light monitors myself before having the paint work professionally done - rather than having the trim masked off - to get a much better quality resulting paint job. The paint on the hood and header - as well as on the rest of the car - is all smooth and glossy and very nice looking. No swirl marks like black paint often has.
