1988 BMW R100RS Monolever, 117,500 well-maintained miles, Cylinder heads recently rebuilt with new valves, guides, seats and new valve cover gaskets, head gaskets and pushrod seals, Progressive brand aftermarket rear shock, BMW system cases, BMW OEM smoked windscreen, This bike in no way shows its age or mileage. It does not leak a drop of oil. Engine, transmission, driveshaft and final drive oil are routinely changed and only OEM filters are ever used. Never crashed or dropped and the original paint is in excellent condition and still retains its gloss (except for a couple of spots on the battery covers which have started to peel). Everything works as it should and it comes with its original owner's manual and its original (and legendary) BMW tool-kit under the seat. Except for the odometer reading and the fact that the rider's portion of the seat has become dull, there is very little to show the bike's age or mileage. It needs nothing except someone to put another 100K on it. I'm giving up riding and want it to go to a good home.
