1966 BMW R27 SingleIn Original Condition Hi, Thanks for looking at my ad!This is a bike that I bought several years ago (2010) at the Barber Museum Vintage Days celebration in Leeds, AL. When I bought it, it had about 8600 miles on it, so I have putted around our areaabout 400 miles on it. The bike is a pleasure to ride, but it feels a little small for my 6'2" frame. It starts after the second or third kick and seems to run strong for its size.$5400 is what paid for the bike and that is where that number came from. The bike was manufactured on Sept. 1st of 1964 and was delivered to Butler & Smith in New York on the 21st of Decemberin 1964. As was the case in those days, the bike was held over due to slow sales and finally sold as a 1966 model later.
