1948 Pontiac Streamliner Silver Streak 2dr. This car was restored about 25yrs.-30yrs. ago and hasn't been driven much since, It was stored for 19yrs. by the last owner. The exterior is painted the original color and is not perfect but is very nice and has the patina and look of an nice older paint job. All the trim is there and in very nice condition. All the glass is original and in very nice shape. The interior is beautiful I would give it a 9 out of 10. The driveline was also rebuilt, the engine is quiet, smooth and purrs like a kitten. The 4 speed automatic transmission works and shifts smoothly. The entire brake system was rebuilt 2yrs. ago along with the fuel pump. The steering is tight and goes down the road nice. Still uses the 6 volt charging system, I own an auto restoration shop and bought this car from one of my customers, it still has original paint in the door jambs and under the trunklid they look very nice and have no rust. The body shows no rust at all even on underside of floor. You just don't see cars in this kind of shape on the east coast. This car gets alot of attention at cruises and car shows you just don't see many of these cars.
