Vehicle Detail
1967 Ford Mustang 2 plus 2 Fastback; both vin stampings match; purchase includes the Marti Report for this car: S engine code - 390 4V engine; C-6 Auto; originally Lime Gold; black interior decor group; decor group exterior; power disc brakes; power steering(not installed - but components included); interior console; convenience control panel; lower back panel grill (car does NOT have the grill); deluxe steering wheel(car does NOT have the deluxe wheel). We have owned this car since 1997 and it has been stored inside since we have owned it. Vehicle was built in San Jose and lived part of its life in California - not sure when it moved to PA. Car has has a VERY thin coat of white paint over the original Lime Gold. Engine runs and starts and transmission shifts. Has a bad transmission leak. Car cannot be steered since the rag joint is bad. Has an Edelbrock 4v intake installed - but car comes with the original Ford intake. original hood is missing - the car does comes with another hood. original doors plus another 2 donor doors included. original fenders plus 2 additional included. car was disassembled for body work - and that's where it stands today. Most of the original trim is included - the rear back panel grill was removed before we bought the car. No bumpers are included. Most everything we disassembled comes with the car. Most small items are tagged and bagged. Comes with new carpet (still in the box) and some misc new small items(blower motor, some splash shields). Included are some aftermarket patch panels and an aftermarket trunk lid. Rust that I know of: floors are solid with only surface rust; front frame members - no rust; front aprons - no rust; rear spring shackle area - no rust; rear quarter panels - both have rust behind the wheel opening; rear fastback vent area - small rust holes (see pictures); original doors have lower edge rust; trunk lid has lower rear edge rust Here is list of repairs/restoration that have been completed (that I remember): New battery tray/box Repaired sheet metal where rear hood pins were installed (at one time vehicle had a hood with 4 pins rather than hinges) New fuel tank and fuel lines New brakes and brake lines - includes new booster and new front disc brake calipers New rear springs and new shocks front and rear Installed remote oil filter(Ford Motorsport) Installed new u-joints New Edelbrock carburator Ford Motorsport valve covers New radiator and fan shroud Pointless ignition installedOn May-05-14 at 16:44:37 PDT, seller added the following information: Car was built Oct. 4, 1966. Engine block build stamp is 9J19. Ford intake that goes with car: it is casting number C80E-9425-C; build date stamp 2D14 Intake that is on the engine is an Edelbrock Streetmaster 390On May-06-14 at 04:21:50 PDT, seller added the following information: Vehicle has a Pennsylvania title. On May-07-14 at 18:02:30 PDT, seller added the following information: Car does not have windshield glass, but does have door glass and the rear glass. I also found a new original Ford nos in the box instrument cluster surround panel (this is silver/chrome) - this goes with the car. Also found the thermactor pump and some of the hoses(this car has the Exhaust Emission Control option as per the Marti report invoice) On May-08-14 at 04:44:24 PDT, seller added the following information: I discovered the other intake (not installed) C80E-9425-C is not for this car - it is a 68-70 428CJ intake. Sorry for the confusion.
