bought this about half a year ago, but I want to put the money toward my truck restoration in great daily rider condition. some very minor things that could be improved. would be great to drive this summer and then use the winter to bring it to show condition. it starts runs and drives. everything works properly. has been stored inside my living room for the past 6 months Alabama does not require a title for vehicles this old, but I do have the previous owner's clear Florida title, which you'll get together with an Alabama bill of sale ---- I will not ship but you're more than welcome to have a shipper pick this up. There is not enough wear on some parts. Foot rubbers are pretty worn, they seem to be original. But the tank sides must have been restored or replaced, they look too good in my opinion. Those 2 things are just a couple of examples. What I think is that the bike has had an amateur restoration. I bought the bike from a Honda mechanic. I'm really hesitant to call this more than a daily, because of all the little thingies. Maybe it is better than a daily, but that'll be the buyer's opinion. I'll gladly add pictures of anything you want to see I have tried to look up to the original description of the bike but I can't find it. So from what I can remember: I think the engine has been rebuilt. The previous owner put quite some work in it, and at 33000 miles it's hard to believe nothing has ever been done. The answer is, I am not 100% sure that it does work. When I got the bike, it was on a battery tender but the battery barely worked. It engaged the starter when you pressed the button, but didn't have enough power to turn the motor. The previous owner told me it is working, but I never tried. I have never replaced the battery, by now it's completely dead.
