1973 Plymouth Duster With Slant Six and Torqueflite Automatic -- Low Reserve Price! Engine and Transmission were rebuilt in 2008 with the Fresh Paint and Body Work I was part of the production crew for the 2012 Horror Film "Bloody 27." This is the car that was built for the production and is in the exact condition when filming wrapped. I had planned to finish the interior and install a Smallblock V8, but never had the time. This is the only car they used in the film and it was quite prominent throughout. This car had a ton of new parts installed for the film. It has a "modded" 225 Slant Six with an Offenhauser Intake, Edelbrock Performer 500 CFM Carb, AAR Fiberglass Hood with Six Pack Scoop and dual exhaust with Flowmaster 40 Series muffler. The car sounds pretty good for a six -- video is on Youtube with the new exhaust system at: YouTube Video Of This Car Fresh sheet metal was installed in 2008 when it got painted. The Duster got a new rear quarter panel and fresh floorboards welded into the car. The chassis is incredibly tight for its age -- perfect for a V8 transplant or run the Slant 6 like they did in the film. The car will need a new battery and fluids to operate the existing powertrain. I'd also recommend having a mechanic inspect the car before trying to drive it (been in storage for 3 years). Also be aware that this car is equipped with manual drum brakes -- they do not stop nearly as fast as a power disc brake car once speeds exceed about 40 mph. The car got a new brake job with new drums in 2010. The car has very little rust. Mostly around the tail light panel. Please review all the photos carefully before bidding.
